J. Linden

Chromolithography, a process by which each color is painted separately for the illustration of a book or magazine, reached its peak in Europe toward the end of the 19th century.  These are authentic 19th century chromolithographs from the monthly publication La Revue Horticole.  John Linden was a highly respected artist and publisher of botanical books.
