Madge T. Walls

Madge T. Walls
Madge Walls was raised in Honolulu, where her grandparents (Madge & Hugh Tennent) arrived in 1923 from South Africa and New Zealand. She raised her children on Maui, where she was a licensed Realtor for 14 years. She taught real estate prelicensing at Maui Community College, and real estate continuing education classes at the Realtors Association of Maui. Her debut novel, "Paying the Price," is a touching tale of mothers and daughters in conflict as well as an inside look at the real estate business in Hawaii. "Buyers Are Liars" continues the story, this time dealing with Alzheimer's disease in a client. In addition to her novels, Walls is the author of "Hawaii Real Estate Exam Book: A Study Guide the State Section of the Hawaii Real Estate Exam." She was also a frequent freelance contributor to the Maui News. She moved to the mainland in 2001, where she worked for a builder of new homes in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as website manager and director of sales operations. She currently lives near Portland, Oregon, closer to her children and grandchildren, where she works as a freelance indexer of nonfiction books (All Sky Indexing), as well as helping people write their memoirs (Memoirs by Madeline).
