Harry Wishard is gaining increasing recognition as one of Hawai'i's outstanding young artists.  Born and raised on the island of Hawai'i, he is greatly influenced by the natural splendor of his surroundings. Working in oils, he strives to capture the unique colors and light of pristine landscapes and seascapes and to create an overall impression of timeless natural beauty.  Known for his attention to details, particularly in the rendition of tropical vegetation and skillful interpretation of light and shadow, Wishard continues in the tradition set by his illustrious uncle, Lloyd Sexton.
