"It was August, the peak of the Perseids. I started my Kamehameha tour that evening out at Mookini Heiau till sunset, alone. After sunset I went up to the windmills on Upolu point and took some shots of the Milky Way over them, I then headed to my planned location at Puu Kohola when the Milky Way would be lined up with the Heiau. As I approached the beach, I was greeted with the Milky Way brilliantly shining in the sky on the beach. I found my way to the north slope of the Heiau to get a good vantage of the Milky Way and the Heiau and then spent the next few hours taking pictures. It was not until I got home, did I see that I had caught a nice fireball in the image". Ethan Tweedie
Metal Prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight.
