Beverly Fettig was born in 1935 in Hot Springs, AK and moved to Hawai’i in 1960. Highly regarded as one of the best “pure” palette knife painters in Hawai’i, she trained with the late Chico Hansen of Spain (who was a student of Peter Hayward). She has exhibited in shows and galleries in Spain, California and Hawai’i, including the Honolulu Academy of Arts. Fettig’s paintings show the true “blues” of Hawai’i’s ocean and skies, along with her understanding of our clouds. Major corporate collectors include United Airlines, First Hawaiian Bank, American Savings, and C.S. Wo. The artist divides her year between Cadaques, Spain and
Haleiwa, Hawai’i.
