HPA’s Alu Mai 2023 proudly marks fifty years of commitment to Financial Aid. Founded in 1973 by Anna Lindsey Perry-Fiske — legendary Waimea rancher, pāʻū rider, hostess extraordinaire, and founding trustee — HPA's gala and auction is a proud tradition and fabulous party. 

This year’s festivities are inspired by the verdant colors of the Kohala cloud forests and rolling hills of Waiʻaka and the unique ahupuaʻa surrounding HPA. Layers of sun-dappled leaves, stones, and moss with hints of colors from our native birds and flowers inspire the evening's theme. Wear your best classic aloha wear and favorite lei or flowers and come prepared to celebrate for a great cause!

The evening will begin with a champagne and pūpū reception, followed by a farm-to-table dinner from Paʻina by Ocean, special entertainment, and a live dance band. Our one-of-a-kind auction items celebrate the student experience at HPA and are designed to inspire your aloha. Come with a generous heart and enjoy a night to remember with a special purpose.
