The Mouse House returns to kick off the holiday season!
This miniature Christmas village created by beloved island painter Martha Greenwell (1920-2014) will be on display at Isaacs from November 7, 2017 through January 6, 2018. All of the artifacts featured in the display are from the attic and tool shed of Greenwell's Palani Ranch. It took Martha eight years to assemble the village.
The creative details of Martha's diminutive village inspire artists and keiki of all ages and reminds us continually of the warmth and wit Martha shared with everyone. "Our island communities are better for her generosity of spirit and artistic legacy," said Mollie Hustace, director of the Isaacs Art Center.
